2. Subject of the contract These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) regulate the terms of the contract between Kemenes Lemez (hereinafter: Provider) and the Customer, the subject of which is the sale of steel trapezoidal sheets, flat sheets, gutter systems, and other related products.
3. Ordering process Orders can be placed:
- via e-mail,
- by phone,
- in person at our premises.
The order becomes valid in all cases upon written confirmation. The confirmation includes the exact name, quantity, prices, and delivery or collection method of the ordered products, as well as the payment terms. The order entails a payment obligation.
4. Prices Prices are indicated in HUF (Hungarian Forint). The indicated prices are for informational purposes; the actual price is recorded in the order confirmation. Kemenes Lemez reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, especially in the event of changes in raw material prices.
5. Payment terms Payment can be made:
- by bank transfer in advance,
- in cash upon receipt,
- based on an individual agreement.
The payment method is recorded during the ordering process. The ordered products can only be collected or delivered after the full purchase price has been paid.
6. Delivery Products can be received:
- in person at our premises,
- by delivery upon request.
The conditions of delivery (delivery fee, deadline, address verification) are agreed upon in advance in all cases. Delivery is subject to an additional fee, which may vary depending on the distance and the ordered quantity.
7. Warranty and guarantee Kemenes Lemez provides an implied warranty for the distributed products in accordance with the relevant legal regulations. The Customer is obliged to report any defects in the products immediately after receipt, in writing and – if possible – with photographic documentation. The warranty does not cover defects arising from improper use, storage, transportation, or the alteration of the products.
8. Limitation of liability Kemenes Lemez assumes no liability for damages resulting from incorrect dimensions provided by the customer, improper use, or unprofessional installation. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that all technical characteristics of the ordered product are suitable for the intended purposes.
9. Data processing The data provided by the Customer will be used by Kemenes Lemez exclusively for the fulfillment of the order. The data is treated confidentially and may only be transferred to third parties for the purpose of delivery or administrative fulfillment. Data processing fully complies with the applicable Hungarian and EU data protection regulations (especially the GDPR).
10. Disputes The Provider and the Customer will primarily attempt to settle disputed issues amicably through negotiation. If this does not lead to a result, the Parties stipulate the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court based on the Provider’s registered office.
